Responsible to assist in following

  • Supervising bookkeeping in QuickBooks Accounting Software.
  • Bank & Vendor dealing
  • Receipts & payments
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
  • Submission of reports to the Directors as per the timeline provided by company in order to ensure timely consolidation of financial reports.
  • Verification of Sales Invoices as per the company policy and procedure. Ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Verification of invoices against the monthly Sales Report.
  • Ensuring vendor payments are processed as per the payment terms.
  • Reconciliation of payable and receivable accounts in order to ensure timely rectification of any discrepancy.
  • Ensuring all related party accounts are reconciled and confirmed on a monthly basis.
  • Coordination with external auditors to ensure the year-end audit is completed on a timely basis.
  • Monthly/Quarterly Sales tax return.
  • Annual Income Tax Return of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities.

The role of the Credit Controller will be required to do,

  • ensure customer payments are received in accordance with account terms
  • regularly review and update existing Credit Limits & Payment Terms offered
  • regularly chase overdue accounts via telephone, email, and letter
  • respond promptly to customer queries, copy invoices, and credit note requests
  • reconcile customer accounts as and when necessary
  • maintain accurate customer contact details
  • liaise with our debt recovery company (update portal when required)
  • prepare reports as required

Job Requirements

  • preferred 1- 2 years experience in a similar role
  • preferred to have a finance-related degree
  • must have excellent English written and verbal communication.
